FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LEGACY SOCCER CLUB AND THE SOCCER PARENTING ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCE PARTNERSHIP PROVIDING SUPPORT AND EDUCATION TO YOUTH SOCCER PARENTS VIA MYSOCCERPARENTING.COM

EASTON, MASSACHUSETTS, May 9, 2018  - The Legacy Soccer Club and the Soccer Parenting Association today announce a partnership agreement by which all families associated with the Legacy Soccer Club will now receive free access to the educational content on the MySoccerParenting.com platform.

MySoccerParenting.com seeks to improve and enhance the experience for youth soccer players by engaging and supporting the players’ parents on topics related to the Body, Mind, Coach, Parent, Next Level and the Game. The Legacy Soccer Club, founded in 2018 current serves over 100 families and is dedicated to provide expert training under professional supervision for the passionate and aspiring player while continuing to develop soccer players within our local soccer communities while strongly encouraging them to continue to play with their town programs.

According to the National Alliance of Youth Sports and reported in the Aspen Institute “State of Play” report, 70% of youths stop participating in organized sports by the age of 13.  While there are many reasons for this unfortunate trend, engaging parents in the game and providing them with education and guidance related to the youth soccer experience of their child is an important step towards reversing this trend.

“The investment Legacy Soccer Club is making towards positively affecting the lives of the players and families associated with their club is commendable.  We are proud to work with the Legacy Soccer Club and are encouraged by their commitment to make a positive impact in their community through sport,” said Skye Eddy Bruce, Founder of the Soccer Parenting Association.

“We are excited about partnering with the Soccer Parenting Association to provide our parents and families a trusted, gold-standard resource for vital information that can help them navigate their soccer players’ journeys,” added John Barata, Founder and CEO of Legacy Soccer Club.  “We look forward to further engaging our parents to make their Legacy soccer experience the best possible.”
