Easton's Own Jenna Tivnan Spoke with Our Players on May 19th

Legacy Soccer Club was thrilled to host Syracuse University's starting defender, #11, Jenna Tivan on a webinar this past Tuesday.   Jenna spent time with our players and shared some of her soccer story with us.  Please click here to learn more.

This week we were honored to add onto our “Celebrity Monday” with a visit from Easton’s very own female superstar, Jenna Tivnan. Jenna is currently going into her Junior year on the Syracuse University Women’s soccer team and was gracious enough to provide us with a little bit of her time to tell us her experience both growing up and currently playing at the high levels.

We had a “Terrific Tuesday” with two-time high school All-American and Syracuse women’s soccer starter, Jenna Tivnan who took time out of her at home and in-town training in Easton to share her soccer story with our players and families.

Jenna, in whom Coach Barata has had the pleasure of coaching and see grow from the age of five, answered some of our younger female players' questions on her soccer experience and gave them some great advice of what it takes to succeed at school (4.0!) and soccer. Entering her Junior year in the fall, Jenna hopes to play in Europe professionally and get into sports management once her playing days are over.

Jenna spoke of her love and passion for the game and shared her drive to continue to work hard every day to challenge herself to improve her soccer skills, overall fitness, and ability to adapt. She shared her journey through youth soccer – from the moment she transitioned to soccer as her focus at a young age, to working hard on her skills and self-belief to push herself to achieve her goals.  Jenna encouraged our young soccer players to make the most of every situation and not allow themselves to make excuses for not working hard.

Jenna’s endless energy and humility shone throughout her chat with us. She fielded all questions from the serious to the fun-filled about her time in youth soccer and the dreams that she has – aspirations we are sure she will achieve.

We would like to thank Jenna for taking time out of her training schedule to speak to us and we wish her everything of the best for the upcoming season and her career in the future! Thanks Jenna!
